I'm from Europe and will be moving to the US for 9 months. I was looking into phone plans and found Google Fi. I have two questions:

- Do you receive a US cell number with a Google Fi phone plan? This is a must

- Can you also make calls and texts with Google Fi? I'm hearing mixed stories

Sorry in advance if these are incredibly stupid questions!

Now first step you have to Join Google Fi Service from this link

after That When you register for it you have the option to either transfer your number (US number, so you don't have one), or create one.

It is a normal phone service, so you can text and call with it. I will add that calls and texts are included for quite a number of countries, which is great if you want to call back in europe.
